أنباء انفو- أفادت وكالة الأنباء الإسلامية السعودية اليوم الأحد، أن أكثر من 130 حاجا بينهم موريتانيون، توفوا في المملكة العربية السعودية خلال أدائهم لفريضة الحج، التي انطلقت يوم الأربعاء الماضي ، وذلك بسبب تفاقم الأمراض المزمنة والمضاعفات المتصلة بالشيخوخة.
ووفقا للمصدر، معظم المتوفين هم من الحجاج الذين أتوا من مصر، فضلا عن وفاة حجاج أخرين من موريتانيا العراق والجزائر والسودان والمغرب والصومال واليمن والأردن أثناء زياراتهم للأماكن المقدسة.
ويخضع حاليا للمعالجة في مستشفيات المملكة العربية السعودية 213 حاجا من الزوار الشيعة.
وصل مجموع من قدم من الدول العربية لأداء فريضة الحج في المملكة السعودية أكثر من 265 ألف نسمة. فريضة الحج هي واحدة من أركان الإسلام حيث يجب على كل مسلم أن يؤدي هذه الفريضة مرة في العمر ويزور خلالها الأماكن المقدسة في مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة، فضلا عن الوقوف طويلا على جبل عرفات. يتم تنفيذ هذه الطقوس في الهواء الطلق وفي وضح النهار، حيث تتجاوز درجة الحرارة أحيانا 35 درجة مئوية .
