أنباء انفو- كشف تقرير رسمي لوزارة الزراعة المصرية ، أن هناك هجومًا ضاريًا لأسراب الجراد من موريتانيا للمغرب، بأعداد كبيرة من الأسراب، بينما هذه الأسراب لا تؤثر على مصر، لبعد المسافة بين موريتانيا ومصر، وكذلك المغرب فى غرب القارة الإفريقى.
وقال مصدر مصري إن لجنة مكافحة الآفات الزراعية، بدأت خطتها الاستباقية فى المسح، واستكشاف الجراد الصحراوى على الحدود المصرية، كإجراء احترازى، تحسبًا لأى هجوم جراد طارئ على الزراعات، وخاصة فى الفترة التى ينشط فيها الجراد، من بداية سبتمبر وحتى إبريل.
وأكد رئيس الإدارة المركزية للجراد والطيران الزراعى بوزارة الزراعة، أنه توجد ٥٥ قاعدة رئيسية لمكافحة الجراد فى مصر، مجهزة بكل المعدات، منها ١٣ قاعدة رئيسية، و٤٢ قاعدة فرعية، للمكافحة، سواءً بالمبيدات أو الآلات أو السيارات.
وأوضح، أن هناك متابعة وتنسيقًا مستمريّن مع حرس الحدود، واللجان المتواجدة على الحدود المصرية، وتنظيم حملات مرورية على مناطق الصحراء الشرقية الجنوبية والغربية الجنوبية، وحتى الحدود السودانية، لإجراء عمليات المسح البيئى، واستكشاف حوريات الجراد، الناتجة عن متبقيات المكافحة.
وأكد أن وزارة الزراعة ممثلة في لجنة إدارة مكافحة الآفات الزراعية، اتخذت جميع الإجراءات الاحترازية لتفادى وقوع الحوادث، التى قد تضر بالمزارع، ووضع الخطط والحلول المناسبة، للحد من أضرار تلك الظاهرة الطبيعية، حيث يتم توزيع سيارات جديدة «دبل كابينة– هاى لوكس» دفع رباعى، على محطات الجراد بالمناطق الحدودية، للمشاركة فى عمليات المكافحة.
