أنباء انفو- حصل الإتحاد الموريتاني لكرة القدم على تمويل من برنامج فيفا فورورد بقيمة 11.1 مليون دولار لتجديد وتطوير البنية التحتية لكرة القدم بشكل جذري.
وقال أحمد يحيي رئيس الاتحاد الموريتاني لكرة القدم :”قبل بضع سنوات، في 2016 أو 2017، كنا على وشك أن نصبح بلا ملعب. كان الملعب الأولمبي قيد الإنشاء، وكنا على وشك استضافة بوركينا فاسو في مرحلة المجموعات لتصفيات كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2019″.
وأضاف: “رأينا أن هناك فرصة بعد أن أطلق فيفا برنامجه FIFA Forward لذلك قدمنا طلباً على الفور، وساعدنا في وقت قياسي وتمكنا من بناء ملعب الشيخة بويدية الذي يستضيف كل مباريات المنتخب الوطني في الوقت الحالي”.
وأوضح:”لم يسمح لنا ذلك ببناء الملعب ومواصلة استضافة المباريات فحسب، بل لم نضطر أبدًا للذهاب واللعب في مكان آخر. بنينا هذا الملعب بفضل تمويل من برنامج فيفا فورورد وقد تحول ليصبح تميمة الحظ لنا، لأننا منذ ذلك الحين، نواصل الفوز في هذا الملعب”.
وتابع:”كان تجديد الاستاد بمثابة العامل المساعد لتنفيذ المزيد من المشروعات الممولة من برنامج فيفا فورورد، فقد تم بناء ثلاثة ملاعب بأرضية صناعية أخرى،كما بُني مركز طبي، وتم إنشاء أكاديمية للشباب، يضم المقر الرئيسي للاتحاد الموريتاني لكرة القدم الآن مبنى جديدًا لقناته التلفزيونية الرسمية ومطعمًا ومتجرًا للمشجعين.
وقال: “تحلينا بالحكمة في الاستفادة من تمويل برنامج فيفا فورورد حيث كان لدينا رؤية ومشروع متماسك تمثل في مركز فني يقع في وسط المدينة حيث يوجد مقر الاتحاد، على أن تتوفر جميع المرافق بالقرب منه، ملاعب التدريب، واستادنا الخاص، والذي أعيد بناؤه”.
وأضاف:«اليوم نرى توسعة المبنى الرئيسي، بمكاتبنا الجديدة، وغرفة الاجتماعات وكذلك الإكاديمية وهو مشروع طموح ومذهل بدأ يؤتي ثماره مع اللاعبين الشباب الذين بدأوا في الظهور، ليس فقط للأندية خارج البلاد ولكن أيضًا لتزويد أندية الدرجة الأولى والثانية ومنتخباتنا الوطنية باللاعبين”.
